1920-1955 (a prodigious jazz musician from
USA). Adapted to a monologue by Helihu
Galvan, Theatre Director from Mexico.
"El Charro Negro". Based on the life of Jorge
Negrete 1911-1953. A singer and actor from
Mexico. Adapted to a monologue from the
book of Julio Cortazar by Helihu Galvan,
Theatre Director from Mexico. 40 min. aprox.
Julio Cortázar (August 26, 1914 – February 12,
1984) was a Belgian-born Argentine intellectual
and author of several experimental novels and
many short stories.Julio Cortázar was born to
Argentine parents: His father was involved in a
commercial venture as part of Argentina's
diplomatic presence. Many years later, Cortázar
would say "my birth was a product of tourism and
diplomacy."
